¡ï American Casey Children's Foundation CASW Assistance Fund for Orphans and Disabled Children were founded on May 18, 2003. American Casey Children's Foundation contributed 500,000 dollars as initial funds. The chairman of American Casey Children's Foundation, Glen Fairburn, attended the inaugural meeting. ¡ï Half the Sky Foundation (U.S.) From 8 to 11 August, 2004, CASW Assistance Fund for Orphans and Disabled Children and Half the Sky Foundation initially came to cooperative intention that Half the Sky Foundation would contribute 2 million dollars to help the AIDS orphans of Henan province. On 8 October, the cooperative plan was finally confirmed. Half the Sky Foundation took charge for raising 16 million yuan to establish a help center for the AIDS orphans, which could provide the help of medical, foster and study. ¡ïCare for Children (British) CASW together with Care for Children, annually contributed 12,000 dollars to help Children's Welfare Institution in Weifang, a city of Shandong Province to develop program about the family foster. The both discussed the authentication of vocational qualification for social worker, the education of social work, and other issues. ¡ïNational Association of Social Workers (U.S.) On August 17,2005, Bailey, the chairman of National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the vice chairman of International Federation of Social Workers in North America, with NASW 28-member delegation visited China Association of Social Workers. ¡ï British Archbishop On October 13, 2005, Mr. Miller, the British archbishop and a philanthropist, visited CASW. He paid much attention to the work of help the orphans and disabled children and development of the program about the family foster. ¡ïThe Social Work Institute of Washington University On October 28, 2005, Edwards?Raul, the dean of the Social Work Institute of Washington University, made a special visit to CASW. The both discussed the education and training of social workers and other issues, and made an exchange of views.
